We process Patreon user and member IDs, display names, campaign and tier information, encrypted credentials and destinations, and access outcomes to check membership, control link access and review suspected misuse. We do not retain or use memberships of unrelated campaigns.
We do not obtain email addresses, postal addresses, posts, passwords or login cookies from Patreon. Emails and information you provide when contacting us are used to handle and record your request. TierKey uses its own login cookies and stores your language preference in your browser.
Creators can see Patreon display names and access history for people who use their own links. Display names are used to review access and handle support. Names recorded in access history are retained for the same period as that history. Pro uses country codes and non-reversible values derived from IP addresses and sessions to review unusual activity. Access history does not store raw IP addresses, tokens or full destination URLs. This information cannot establish who redistributed a work.
Retention periods are 7 days for Basic history, 90 days for Pro history, 30 days for Pro metadata and membership caches, 365 days for daily counts without personal identifiers, and 180 days for administrative audits. Login sessions last at most 7 days; OAuth start records last 10 minutes. Expired records are removed on the next successful cleanup, scheduled every 15 minutes.
Member credentials are deleted after no valid login remains. Creator credentials are deleted on disconnection. Links and settings remain available for reconnection until account deletion. Non-personal URL identifiers remain to prevent deleted links from being reassigned.
Creator-entered member blocks, login-reset settings and notes are retained for access control until account deletion. Notes are internal records, not messages sent through Patreon.
Patreon handles authentication and membership. Cloudflare Workers / D1 processes and stores service data; D1 uses the Asia-Pacific region. Traffic may be processed abroad. D1 restoration history remains for up to seven days on the Free plan. Deletion requests and retention limits are reapplied before reopening a restored service. Our email provider also processes support correspondence.
